Jessie Murphy in the Woods recently interviewed me for their "Thank You, Please and Welcome to the Woods" Series. I answered questions about Tinderbox Music Festival, Saving the Planet, and New York City in spontaneous songs on my rainbow glockenspiel and mini Casio keyboard. FIGMENT - June 15, 2010
I played music this weekend at FIGMENT-- an amazing all-volunteer run festival on Governor's Island. It turns Governor's Island into a collaborative art space where each person who attends can interact with each art work (there are so many all around the island). I walked through white silk sheets, painted a picket that became part of an American Dream picket fence maze, had my portrait drawn on the inside of a matchbook by Ohio Mike (see the picture on my blog http://dearlilithfair2010.wordpress.com/2010/06/14/figment/), added my childhood dream to a copper wire dream tree, threw around multi-colored rose petals, planted a drawing in a doodle garden, and sang music to listeners who sat on a painted bell. Check out more about FIGMENT here: http://figmentproject.org/2010
Ways of the World - June 8, 2010
Here is a new song on the microkorg called "Ways of the World." It's about the world being absurd and the crazy dreams I have where my internal organs are undoing themselves from me. Check it out!

I will be playing my next show at The Studio at Webster Hall in NYC on Monday May 31 at 8pm for the NO COVER MONDAY Show alongside Gina's Picture Show, The Dirty Dishes, and Art Decade. See the "Calendar" section for more details!
Mustache Song Collaboration - May 7, 2010
Some friends and I got together and wrote an impromptu song about a man who wears a mustache and has a figurine friend! You can enjoy it here:
Here is a video of the first full song I remember writing at 12 years old! It is called "Father and Son" and is about a father putting pressure on his son.
